Major Myjah is a multi-talented singer / songwriter / musician and actor. Major's new and eclectic sound is inspired by influences as diverse as Coldplay, the Beatles, John Lennon, Eminem and James Fauntleroy. Major's dedication to his artistry and acumen as a songwriter has led to collaborations with acclaimed artists, songwriters and producers very early in the teen’s career. Some of the industry heavyweights with whom Major has collaborated with include: Afrojack, Asher Roth, No ID, James Fauntleroy, Supa Dups, Mozella, and Sir Nolan. At 18 years old, his diverse influences and list of collaborators have shaped him into a well rounded artist and performer. Recently, Major has performed at SXSW (Texas), The world famous Whiskey a Go-Go, XEN Lounge, the renowned Lyric Theatre (Los Angeles) and Club Jupiter in Copenhagen, Denmark. Major also toured the US with music royalty, Ky-mani Marley.His buzz record, "Cry" was released in November 2014 and his debut EP “Trouble” released on Warner Bros. Records, earned him a spot on Tidal’s “Artist on the Rise 2015” list.
